I just bought a new Westinghouse 26" HD ready LCD TV. When I turned it on, the screen flicked on, but then went black. The sound continued to work. It's like this everytime I turn it off then on again. I've already checked all the connections - everything is properly connected. This problem is the same no matter what source I use. Does anyone have any idea what the cause of the problem might be?
I've read that it might have something to do with a defective inverter or backlight...

I think you need to return it for exchange or take a look at the Syntax Olevia LT26HVE 26" HD-Ready Flat-Panel LCD TV, it has good reviews for the price.
