I'm trying to record from a dish 3000 to a vcr, I believe it was hooked up from a professional install, I can't seem to record anything, is there a certain channel I need to set it on to play or record, I can't program the vcr remote doesn't go that high. help me please.

I newly bought DCR- from China and I am staying in Turkey. I have a trouble both in copying the video to my PC or recording to a CD. How did you solve this problem, could you please help me. All my best
