I've got a Samsung 65" rear projection CRT...about 3 years old. I can't describe the distortion any better than calling it 'waves'. It's like those old fashion 13" tv's where you'd have to re-position the rabbit ears to eliminate (or reduce as much as possible) the waves that appeared in the picture.
Now, I should point out, it's very subtle...my wife can't see them unless I point them out. These waves seemed normal about a year ago...and they would disappear after the tv warmed up for 10 minutes or so...but now they don't disappear. Even though they are subtle they drive me nuts.
It doesn't matter which input I use, so I know it's the TV itself.
Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on how to fix?
