You need two sources to do PIP. If you are trying to do PIP, what two sources are you trying to use? Cable and DVD, DVD and Satellite, Sat and Cable, 2 cable channels, or what? You must input two sources to use PIP.

nothing. the manual says do not put the same signal into A and B. so i was afraid to try a spitter to a and b, or through the vcr to b. if anything else is used (dvd ) how do i watch two tv stations at the same time?

YOU NEED TWO TUNERS TO WATCH TWO STATIONS AT ONCE.

You have a tuner in your TV and use a cable box for the other tuner, specially if you want to watch PPV channels and other digital channels.

Split the cable coming out of the wall. Send one cable to the cable box and into the display (component cables, etc). Take the other coax cable and run it into ant A. Click PIP button.

does that mean that you can't get pip if you use a cable card? the card is "ant a".

You need two sources (tuners). That has been said three times already. Your TV has ONE, you need ONE MORE. Call your cable co and get a box, or go back to the store where you bought the display and get some basic install help.

You only have one "digital" tuner and one standard tuner. As you know, you will have to supply a different signal to the A input and B input. "A" will display the higher digital channels and HD channels, "B" will not, and will probably only go up to channel 125.

You can plug your coax cable into "A" and use an over-the-air antenna for "B". That will allow you to have PIP with two channels at once (one side of PIP will have access to all cable and digital channels, the other will have access to local channels). You will need a cable box as far as I know, if you want to have digital channels on both sides of the PIP. This is explained in the manual which if you don't have, can be read at www.pioneerelectronics.com/

Have you talked to your salesman about this?
