Hello,

I'm a college student, renting out a house with 3 other roommates. We each have our own small rooms. I'm considering getting a 26" Toshiba HD-Ready television for my room, so I can watch HD Programming. I was wondering does anyone know if this is a good Television? I talked to Comcast and they said all I need is a HD Converter Box and i'm set. All I need to do is buy the HD-Ready TV.

I'm a college student so i'm obviously on a budget. The reason i'm checking this Toshiba out is because it's a Combo TV with Built-in VHS and DVD player. Also, does anyone know if the picture quality will be good when viewing DVDs?

Here's a link to the Toshiba - http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisions/product.asp?model=mw26g71

Combos are a bad idea. The VHS and DVD will be the poorest quality made, and cost much more to repair than to buy a new standalone when they have problems. If you need a DVD and VHS, buy them seperate.
