Newbie here, I installed dish 500 and on my pansat2500a i did a channel scan,i am getting some channels fom110 and 119 but am missing alot of the channels on both 110, and 119.is there setting on the pansat i need to change or do i need another cable from the antenna to the reciever or is one cable good enough for both 110 and 119..
To receive any channels from BOTH the 110 and 119 ,then U must have 2 LNB's...and since U are using only 1 cable to the receiver, U must be using Dish Pro LNB's on that Dish 500...so that being said...now just do a blind scan and TP scan ...a vertical polarity TP scan..
To avoid duplicate channels when doing a blind scan when using Dish Pro LNB's...just perform a vertical polarity transponder scan in the following manner...
select menu installation blind scan select satellite select polarity vertical scan all
