You CAN use twin lnb's with DISHPRO written on it. You CANNOT use twin legacy (nondishpro) lnb's as the switch in them is not compatible with FTA receivers.
If you just have a Dual LNB it will work fine on FTA. Here is a pic to see if you have twins or duals
By the way: If you do have Dishpro LNB's you will need a CHANNEL list that is specific for Dishpro setups. You can find these at lots of free sites around.(just register for FREE) Such as hashhu. com al7bar. tk dsscentral. net curious-contraptions.com

i have a dish 500 with a dishpro twin lnb. everytime i do a blind scan on just one of the sats (110 or 119) i pick up some channels from both, but not all channels. then if i do the other sat (110 for instance) i get even more of the same channels. how would i go about picking up just 1 of each channel on each sat?
