I posted awhile back to get advice about a TV that I found on the neighbors curb. The power cord had been cut down th a 3" nub & the cable input(coax) is broken off.
I fixed the power cord issue by splicing a new cord on. It works :-)
Now my question is... Is there a device that does the opposite of a RF modulator. takes Cable thru coax & convert it to AV? I know I could acomplish this thru use of a VCR... but I don't have one.
I do have 2 stereo/home theater recievers. Can I use the coax plug in the back of one of those & out put thru AV outputs? It says "FM Anntena" so i'm thinking that answer is no.
Also another weird thing.. my boyfriend has these 2 recievers hooked into the same TV a large wattage one for the house speakers & smaller wattage one for surround. He says its louder that way... Any truth to this? Or is he just a delusional tweeker.
