I have a C00ls*t 4000 and it was working fine until it finished the blind scan, it powered off on its own. Now when you power it on using the master switch on the back of the unit, it comes on for 30 seconds and then shuts down. The remote doesn't seem to do anything. Any help is appreciated.
I think i had the same problem but never figured out exactly why. It seems to work with certain type of cable. I use the cable that was initailly wired from directv and it works fine but when i try to run my own cable (from radio shack) it doesn't work. it would power on and shut off automaically. I would really want to know what causes it.
