PICTURE IS DISTORTED, BOWS INWARD WITH LARGE BLACK AND GREY FUZZY LINES THROUGH THE PICTURE AS WELL. THE PICTURE IS RECOGNIZABLE BUT UNWATCHABLE. SOUND IS FINE. CABLE AND INPUT LINES WERE CHECKED. UNABLE TO WATCH DVD OR VHS ON THE TV. UNABLE TO ACCESS WITH THE REMOTE, THE TV DOES NOT RESOND. I HAVE ONLY HAD THE TV ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF. PLEASE HELP ME AND TELL ME ITS NOT A GONER. ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS.
Have you tried turning it off and unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in and turning it on. Sometimes this will "reboot" the set and get things back to normal. Failing that it's time to call a tech. I don't suppose you have an extended warrantee? Sure can come in handy at times like this......
Tried the reboot, no help. Trying to avoid that costly visit. Any other suggestions out there? Going to try a new post with subject line: help. Thank you
