is your reciever emitting heat, that is to say more then it use to, if so the fix is a simple as adding a fan to extract the heat from the unit, some ppl have added a heat sink as well. It can't hurt th add a fan (small boxer type fan over the units top grill. HEAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ENEMY OF ELECTRONICS!

All a user can do is start by cleaning (corrupted memory) the receiver by first applying the factory original bin and buying DIRECTLY from the manufacturers or authorized dealers only.
