is your reciever emitting heat, that is to say more then it use to, if so the fix is a simple as adding a fan to extract the heat from the unit, some ppl have added a heat sink as well. It can't hurt th add a fan (small boxer type fan over the units top grill. HEAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ENEMY OF ELECTRONICS!

Freezing is caused by many different things..a correctly built piece of electronics from a reputable company should NOT require any additional hardware modifications such as heat sinks, shields, or fans..freezing was common with the old bins and the keys not rolling correctly.

Freezing is now caused by inferior products, poor software, corruption in memory of receivers etc..

Freezing is now caused by inferior products, poor software, corruption in memory of receivers etc..FTA users are at the mercy of the large money makers corporations and coders who have not really learned all the ins and outs of this nagra2 yet. All a user can do is start by cleaning (corrupted memory) the receiver by first applying the factory original bin and buying DIRECTLY from the manufacturers or authorized dealers only.
