I recently purchased a Samsung 42" edtv plasma. The tv has a wonderfully bright, sharp and clear picture provided by Comcast expanded basic service. My only dislike is the 16x9 aspect makes everyone look like squatly "South Park characters". The panorama aspect is somewhat better and that is the aspect that I most often use for viewing. Will subscribing to the HDTV package from Comcast using a cable card improve the aspect of channels broadcast in HDTV? Will I gain anything since my tv is only EDTV?
