I think I saw a bin for the Pantec Ultra at dss central's download section. Whether it works for any Pantec, I don't know. I don't think it'll kill the receiver. I can't see Pantec trying to kill their other clones, however I don't know where the bin came from (is it Pantec's official offering?) or whether it'll make your remote incompatible with the receiver. I'd think at worst you'd have to either get another remote or reflash your box back to an earlier bin that worked.

Everything you will need for the Pantec fix is at Pantecdvb.com, but be warned there is a hardware aspect.

I see 2 bins at al7bar. tk for N2 and the pantec..one is to be used after modifying your Pantec into a Pansat..
