Hi all! I've been reading the boards for the past few days, esp. in relation to a problem that I've had with my "old" Mitsu WT-46-807. Needless to say I think it's going to be junked as the fix has not worked and I need not spend over a grand to fix.
Needless to say this means I'm searching for a new tv. I'm' intrigued by plasmas and would like everyone's input on the best 42" or 50" models out there. I've got HD with DirecTV (another topic entirely), and also use the tv for occasional Xbox use. I'm running a progressive DVD player as well as receiver and home theater (Onkyo).
Bottom line - I need advice on the best picture, must have multiple inputs for component/DVI/etc. Any help you can provide is most appreciated!
[Did I mention that I have to sell the wife on this whole idea?]
Let me know what you think. Btw, LGs are probably better than the Philips in my humble opinion, but you are going to end up paying a lot more thanks to their stupid agreement with best buy.
