Hey guys. I've been searching for an hour and came up empty on this one.
I just got a samsung hd850 to compliment my hdmi capable rca HDLP50w165. Now it's hooked up via hdmi to hdmi. It dosen't work. Most of the time i get white snow/no signal/back to white snow/a slight image of the DVD. And sometimes, after 10-15 seconds, i get the DVD playing (once every 10 try's). Then i close the player, turn it back on, white snow comes back with no signal. I really don't get this. i've tried 480p, 720p, 1080i, RBG normal, expand and 4:2:2/4:4:4. Nothing seems to make a diff. Now with the components, and rca plugs, everything is perfect ----> except the quality is just as good(bad) as my panasonic progressive DVD player
