Hi, was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with a problem I'm having recording from one DVD player to another. I'm able to pickup the signal though my tv fine, and it comes in in color. But when I hit the record button on my DVD player to record, it's recording in black and white. I've tried everything and I can't seem to locate the problem. Can someone help me with this, please?

Thanks....

How is everything connected? You can't have s-video and composite both connected to the same input.

I have a Toshiba tv and there are 4 Vid connections on it. Vid#1 is the s-video connection and I have the DVD thats doing playback connected to it. I have the DVD thats doing the recording connected to Vid#4. As I was saying, everything works great, it just records in black and white. I thought maybe it could be the vid cable I was using, but I changed cables and that didn't fix it.

Don't go through the TV. Connect the s-video and RCAs for audio straight from the player to the recorder.
