I was just told by Polaroid (Mexico) that their DVD player Model DVP-110M and in fact any DVD player made for South of U.S. border (this one was made in China) has a dedicated Region 4 chip which can not be changed or unlocked. I was further told this was by Intrernational Law.
Does this sound right and/or have you had any experience similar?
