I am trying to hook up my Cox cable to a 1997 Phillips TV. I thought I could just put the coaxial cable directly from the cable box to the TV, but it doesn't work. (I don't have a VCR or DVD, just cable box and TV.) Do I need to buy some sort of adaptor? Thanks. Cox's online tutorials were no help at all.
