Hello Everyone, I have a Panasonic E95 DVD recorder. and I am going to buy a Samsung LCD TV the 45inch one. questions: 1)would i need a HD dvd player to get the best quality of watching movies? 2)if yes? what product?

You mean the 46" Samsung LCD, right?
I recently got my first Samsung the LN-R237W i'm very satisfied with the picture quality, inputs and features {not to mention the price}, you will too with the 46"!
To answer your questions; Yes, you'll need the Samsung DVD-HD950 High-Definition convertion DVD player., connection is thru HDMi {W/HDCP, very important!}
The details in the movies are incredible, you won't be dissapointed.
