hope i have posted in right spot. My question is , i have a panasonic tv with only one audio(no left & right) and video input , how can i conect my dvd player so i get surround sound when watching tv , at the moment it only conects with the video input and i have surround sound when watchung dvd with the tv switched to av. Is there a way of doing this . Thanks for your help Roslyn
You can't get surround sound without a receiver and 5 speakers. If you want both left and right channels on your mono TV, get a Y cable from Radio Shack.

Thank you for you quick answer , i will get a y-cable and see how it goes, i was told in a electrical store that it could not be done, said i should buy new tv , just wanted a sale i guess thanks for your help
