As the nice son I am  I bought my father the above DVD recorder for Fathers day.It duly arrived but when we connected it to his JVC Tv the picture was edged in pink and had a pink line throught the center.Not only that it was pigging noisy (the motor not the pink strip!!) I returned it tout suite only to be told by the company that they could not find any fault with it, and that some players are noisier than others. I did point out to them that the Yukumo player I bought him a while back at the princely sum of £29 works perfectly! They state that it must be a compatability issue between the Sony and JVC TV. I have not heard anything like this before and cannot find anything like it on the web.Are they pulling my chain or has anyone heard of this before.I need to know as at the mo I might be lumbered with the pice of S***T as I returned it after 14 days..well it was a present and I always thought it was rude to open presents you bought for others!!! Please can any one shed light on this for me |
