I got a Magnavox 150mf170v flat screen tv at a christmas party in december, and i didn't open it and start using it until this april, it worked fine without any problems for two weeks, then one day it went to a blue screen, made a high pitched noise, i couldn't turn it off, so i unplugged it, and now it won't turn back on. When i plug it in a light comes on in the bottom corner that tells you it's on standby so i know it's not the power source. the warranty is out, i'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix it or what i should do to get it fixed.
Look up "television repeir" in your yellow pages and call around for a quote. Expect anywhere from $75 to $200 for average repair.

The 1-year manufacturer warranty can't be out if you got it as a gift in December of 2004...
