Hello Im new here. I have the basic service from Comcast and they will be sending a tech to my house to install the card. I wanted to know if they have to do anything outside the house, like change cables from the street or something like that.
Only if there is a problem with the lines. Minimal they should at least change all the connectors and verify signal strength and integrity. If you have an old RG59 cable, it should be replaced with RG6
Off air HDTV is working fine, as long as your TV is capable of receiving it without a STB. Keeping in mind this is only for locally broadcast networks stations.
