This model is 1979. What kind of tuner it got? Is it the one with 6-12 presets you manually tune? Then you're out of luck; there was a special Sony remote for that, which no "Universals" would substitute.

Does anyone know which type of universal remote control will work for an old Sony Trinitron kv-13tr14 TV? I've just bought a Sony universal remote control (rm-v202) but am unable to access the menu with it (only vol or channel). Thanks a lot for any info
