I purchased the Sony KDF50WE610 LCD tv about 18 mo ago from Circuit City. The first one stopped powering on within 30 days, so I swapped it back to them for another one. Now, I have the same problem on this new one. The power/standby light blinks for a while, and then turns red. It flashes 5 times red, stops and then repeats. A call to Sony tech and I was told it was probably the power supply, but that there were no service bulletins. Has anyone else seen this? It seems very strange to me that it has happened twice to me. I think there must be a problem with their power supplies.
