I have dtv and live in florida. If I tell dtv I moved to NY and use a NY phone number and address, will I get the NY locals (CBS, NBC, etc.) in HD, NY sports channels, etc. Thanks for your help.

They will reprogram your card for NY,and U MIGHT get some channels like Yes,MSG,Fox East..but U won't receive any of the local NY channels (under channel 100)
Thanks. But wouldn't I get the NY locals that I think are somewhere in the 380's? (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX)

NO..to receive the 380's a waiver is required from the major networks...it is ONLY granted when a rural area cannot pickup/receive the major networks using any other means, such as an air attennae or if they are NOT available on satellite locals (channels 1-99)or NOT available on cable..
