Lines On My TV Screen

Asian Tiger Unregistered guest	Posted on Saturday, April 23, 2005 - 12:52 GMT I have a JVC television, model number "AV-25SX1EK" and when its switched on there are white lines across the top of the screen. This occurs in both 4:3 and 16:9 mode and intermittently the picture will also flicker, turning black. Is this a problem that can be repaired, or am i better off chucking it.
