Just purchased a Panasonic DVD recorder... I have the follwoing equipment
1) Comcast Cable Box (HD with Dual Tuner and DVR) 2) HD tV
and now trying to connect the Motorola box to the DVD recorder,While the HDTV is getting the feed through the cable box using component cable.
When I connect the DVD recorder to Video 1 in TV, I am getting a blue screen even after I have been prompted to do automatic channel tuning by the Recorder...
You don't tell how everything is connected. Connect the cable box to the DVD recorder with an s-video cable if possible and RCA cables if not, then set the DVD recorder on whatever input the cable box is connected to. Connect the DVD recorder to the TV with the triple component cables for video and the 2 RCA jacks for audio.
