mills014 Unregistered guest | My TV is 3 weeks old. I have a few questions: 1) I don't think I have the same lights on the LED front display. Instead of blinking lights, I have blinking words. Is this a change in newer models? Seems different from what is shown on Samsung's website under their interactive manual. 2) I have noticed that the Timer light has been on today and previously the Standby/Temp light was blinking. What does this mean? What do I have to do? 3) what are these warranties that people refer to? Where do you get them and is it worth it to get one? for how long? They seem pretty expensive (like 25% of the price of the TV from what I read). Can I still get one even though I bought the TV 4 weeks ago? 25% of the purchase price for insurance seems ridiculous if that's the case. At that point, it could be worth it just to get a new TV. |

FYI Unregistered guest | mills, First, power off the set for one minute and when the fan kicks off, unplug the set for a minute. Power up the set and go to the "Setup" in the menu. Choose "Time". Set the correct time and be sure that all timers are in the "Off" position. I have a five year with these folks. Others are available. http://www.cpscorporation.com/index.aspx |
