First, thanks to all you guys on the forum for all the posts. I've just bought a setup and I used a lot of the info on this forum to guide me through!!!

Ok...so since my budget was somewaht limited, heres my setup

Sony 34" XS955 Fat Tube
Onkyo HT770 Home Theater System
Panasonic S27 DVD

So I hooked up comcast motorola box...awesome! but they gave me a component cable..not HDMI..
so since only have 2 components on the TV, and HDMI, and I have 2 components on the Onkyo...my dillemma is that I now have 4 component devices
(HDTV, DVD, XBOX, PS2) and only 3 component inputs

1 on the TV (because I lose 1 to the onkyo routing)
2 on the Onkyo
----
3

So whats the best choice? Do I buy an HDMI cable to free a component? or is there a component switchbox for my consoles (xbox, ps2, ps3?, xbox 360?)

Thanks folks!!!

Update: I just read that new slim PS2 supports Progressive movie playback. Since all my equipment is within 30 days, I should return the DVD and cables and pick up the new ps2, that way keeping my old ps2 in the bedroom (in case wifey wants to watch crappy a$$ "America's Top Model" one day.

Anyone suggests a reason why I SHOULDNT do this?

Sounds good to me - and, keep the 'AA' (or whatever) batteries from the remote control. 'They' won't know the difference... :-)
