I'm looking for a 42" Plasma under $3,000. I'm only going to be watching dvds & standard cable. I don't care if it's HDTV or EDTV although the EDTV's I've looked at in the store have the screen door effect which I hate. I'm thinking about LG, Viewsonic, Panasonic, or Pioneer, and it has to have a DVI input. I'm leaning more toward the Viewsonic VPW4255, but I'd like some opinions first.

Check out the Dell 42" HD at 2999 when on sale (almost every week). It has reasonable PQ and Dell support.
