I have a rca vcr model number vr628hf that has been giving me trouble. When I put a tape in, it ejects it without me pressing on the eject button. Whenever that happens, it displays "stop"" at the front display panel, or sometimes it turns off by itself when it happens.
I have a Magnavox projection TV. We just had the fluid replaced in the tubes, but now there seems to be too much green. All the blacks have a green tint to them, sometimes a "green halo" around edges. Repair guy says this is normal. I don't think so. Is there a way to turn the green level down? (Using red/green tint menu is no help) THANKS!
Well Dan, I'm sure John appreciates your insight in responding to his post. John, your problem is probably beyond the ability of most consumers to repair. Repair costs will likely equal or exceed cost of replacement. This is not very helpful I know. But I just don't think consumers should fool around with electrical circuits unless they are trained to do so.
