j have a denon 1910 dvd player. i was just wondering what you set the dvi setting too for dvds. 1080i,720,480. nowing most dvds are not 1080i or even 720 is the best to put it at 480.

Depends on your tv. If you have a digital set, choose the setting that produces the best picture. Upconversion can produce subtle picture improvement with some DVDs. But don't expect miracles because we are all limited by the medium until HD DVD's arrive. If you have a standard analog set, you're stuck with 480i.
