Where can I find a replacement screen (the plastic outside protection screen) for an Akai 54" rear projection. Also, how do take the molding off around the screen? Does it just pop off? I don't want to break it. Thank you.
You might want to check the Akai website for a replacement screen. They'll list phone numbers and adresses for servicing. You may be able to pick one up locally, or have one delievered to your home.
As for removing broken screen, check your owners manual. On Tvs that I've seen, there is molding that you remove to pop the screen out. Your manual will give specific instructions.
