I purchaed a Samsung dvd-v3500 and was wondering if you knew of any decently priced universal remote controls that work the menu functions. I do not have the original so a learning remote will not work.
Puchase a 15-2216 from Radio Shack for $30 and then search for JP1 remotes on Google. You can program that baby to do just about anything with any set and put it on whatever key you want. I bought all the 15-2217 ones from the stores near me when they went on clearance and gave one to all my friends for Christmas.
Also, don't worry about having the original remote as someone probably already has the codes for all the functions. There is a users group with a file directory of many brands and models.
