How do I get rid of the wavy lines running diagonally accross the screen? I recently purchased a Denon 1710 DVD player. The salesperson told me that the Denon 1910 which has 720p and 1080i upconvert only still plays DVD's at 30 lines in 480p. So with that knowledge i decided to save a hundred bucks. I have a 42 inch plasma screen and I hooked my dvd player up through a Denon home theater receiver and am running everything through a clean power center. I also used gold tipped monster component cables to hook it up. When i threw in a copy of the matrix, i notice the colors are dull and there are wavy lines running across the top left corner of the screen. I know it isn't the reciever or the cables because my xbox (not modded) has better color and quality. I'm wondering how to correct this or if i should just take the thing back and upgrade to a better model? Any suggestions?
