I recently bought a sony kdxs955 hd tv that has a built in tuner. I hooked it up to a terk antenna and it gets no picture but gets sound. I went to the diagnostics and it says the signal is 98. But it also says locked, i don't know what that means. I don't think it's the antenna because i used the same antenna on a zenith hdtv in the same house and it picked up 6 or 7 hd channels. I'm in MA and 10 miles NW of Boston. Oh, and one more thing does anyone know why im picking up a couple of movie channels like HBO that i didn't have before?

I have a Sony Grand Wega (kdf-50we655) hooked up to a terk antenna and I get great HD reception of all the locals in my area (florida). I'd call Sony if I were you. Sounds like a configuration problem. Do you have a good RG 6 cable. Don't use the cheap RG 59 cables with HD. I had problems with my satelite cause I was using the RG 59 cables and as soon as I switched cables, everything cleared up.
