I have a cable line in my home and it works(coax in my tv) How do I know if this is analog or digital signal. If it is digital can I buy a digital box and hook this line up to my new EDTV. I want to use the better monster cables instead of just coax. I do not want to contact Comcast for obvious reasons. The line was there when i moved in and still works
Your not going to get the digital service unless you have a digital box. Even after you have one comcast has to enable that box to work with there system. Your tv wont get the digital service alone.
