I'm trying to hook up my Dvd player to my tv and i tried connecting the yellow, white and red cords and the dvd player goes but it doesnt show up on my tv??? What could be wrong!
Several things. First thing to check is if some setup of TV is necessary when using these inputs. Have a look in the manuals first, we'll be here if you still need some more help.

I'm having a similiar problem -- but I can't check the manual, because it's an older TV (Sanyo, no idea what year) that I received as a gift. I'm trying to connect VCR, DVD, cable box and TV...not sure how! I even took the VCR out of the mix and just tried to connect DVD to cable box, but that's not working either. Any ideas?
