I have a Samsung HD941. I have it connected to my Hitatch 60vs810 thru the HDMI Cable. My Hitachi has an optical out that I have going to my Sony receiver. When I set my Audio out on the Samsung to Bitstream I loose all audio and a message on the TV says "HDMI Audio not supported" I spoke with Hitachi Support and they say Bitstream is not supported on HDMI ports only on Antena 1 and 2 because of HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content protection) "HDMI audio PCM support only" on my Hitachi 60vs810. I like the idea of both audio and video on one cable but if I cannot get bitstream out of it, what good is HDMI???
