i am fairly new to this so I am not too sure if there is a solution to my problem or not.. or atleast what are my options.. i would appreciate all opinions and/or advice..
here is the problem..
i have a jvc IRD model 3000 and i'm using it to watch dish network.. i had a rom10 card which got locked and became useless.. so i heard of these atmega128s and got myself one... it seems to be working perfectly.. except for an error message coming on every 15 minutes or so... this message keeps switching between error message number 005 and 016...
is there a solution to this problem?? what are my options?

Try these...its the ONLY solutions for the exact same problem that others have had,and the 2nd solution (new fix) didn't work when tried..
1.Need to change the crystal on the atmega board to run on the 3000,18mz is too fast.. think you need a 9 mz or 9.21
