I bought a Lite-On dvd player/recorder recently. It has an optical and coaxil digital output. It has the Dolby Digital symbol on the front, but no DTS symbol.
The Denon manual says DTS needs to have a DTS compatible dvd player to play. Can I connect the player to my denon 1705 receiver (DTS and dolby decorders) with the optical output and play DTS?
