We received a Lite-on LVW 5005 DVR. Here in lies the problem. I want to connect it to record from the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 PVR (I know what you are thinking but it's free for a year). I have a Sony TV (it does a video in panel on the front) and both a panasonic VCR and DVD player. I have serached this site and hav found similar questions but could not piece together a complete solution.
