I have an Emerson Ewr20v4 dvd/vhs recorder combo. It works great, except I can't change my recording speed. I use 120min 4.7GB dvd-r, and the option comes up for me to change my record speed, but when I do, my recordings stop at 120mins. Is there something else I'm suppose to do or a certain kind of dvd-r I should use?
No certain type of disc. If it stops at 120 minutes it's recording in SP. To get longer times switch speed to LP, you'll be sacrificing quality, I never go over SP.
