Two thing:

1. I have seen an XBox hooked up with RCA cables directly to both a LCD TVs and Plasma TVs and both looked kind of shitty. Is this just how it is? Do tube TVs just look better for video games?

2. Other than the classic projection TVs, are there are any other types of TVs that can suffer burn-in?

1) I have a plasma tv, and I have an XBOX. Connecting through the advandced AV pack, using s-video. Much, much, much better picture.

2) I think all tv's can suffer burn in, just some are more prone to burning in than others.

Please us the S-video cables for hook up. The picture is way better.

"Burn in" is nothing to fear as long as you do not fall asleep all night or leave on for several hours with no screen change. Play for a couple of hours, change the channel or switch to a new screen to allow the plasma screen to "refresh" itself and you will not have a problem with burn in.

forget s-video use the component monster cable and don't forget to turn the HD signal on on the xbox console, that is a much better picture.
