New member Username: Robertt8Post Number: 1 Registered: Dec-04 | Hey guys! I hope someone can help here because I'm totally at a loss here. Here's what I've got... DirectTV Zenith TV (with only "ANT IN") VCR DVD I was able to get everything running until I tried to add the DVD to the mix... my plan was to plug the dvd into the VCR 3 plug (yellow, red, white) into the front connectors on the VCR...i even tried the back matching connectors on the VCR, and they didn't work either. I was able to get this really faint image that was kind of moving strangely across the screen, but that's about it... what am i doing wrong? do i need an adaptor or something. any advice would great great! Thanks! Robert Tait robert@birdsallinteractive.com |
Anonymous | Your problem is macrovision protection. It is copyright protection on DVD. You can read more details here http://www.xdimax.com They also have a solution for you http://xdimax.com/dvd/dvdred.html or http://xdimax.com/dvd/dvdredpro.html I use PRO version |

I tend to get no audio and, quite literally, no DVD...just a VERY light (like 5%...if that)...a light ghost, of the video. do you think that's still the problem? Like i said, I don't even care if i plug in the the VCR. it just seemed liked it was something i needed to do. |
