Help. I have one of the above sets. Have been pretty happy except for a couple issues (and can never get THomason to respond to emails):
1) sometimes my set starts up fine. other times ..about 1 in 10 it will come on AUDIO ONLY .. and then on/off light will start to blink.. then it goes off and AUDIO and sound disappear.. then sometimes in about 304 seconds it comes back on properly... any ideas of the cause of this?
2) is there any way to get reflective screen added so no glare?
3) sound issue of loud fan. Has anyone ever figured out if this is normal or a bad color 'wheel'?
4) how do you get a good extended warranty on this set?
5) if you get keyboard, can you easily surf the web, get your mail, etc? how easily is it done
6) is there a new firmware update yet?? how do you tell if you have the latest?
sorry for all the dumb questions, can't find it online and can't get any answers from RCA online support email (that only allows you 500 'letters' counting spaces.... so you can only type aobut 1 paragraph or it rejects your questions.

mike, go to rca.com and go to press releases. there are a couple of vip's phone numbers there. start giving them a call to see if you get any help.
