1. Mitsubishi 52725 DLP - $3500 from Tweeter with good return and good extended service policy.
2. Toshiba 52HM84 DLP - $3000 from Besy Buy or Sears.
I have heard good things about these units, but I have been unable to to see them both at the same store. Although, I have seen a lot of posts of the Mits having problems. On the other hand, I have not heard much about the Toshiba having problems, but I am not as familiar with this unit.
Any thoughts on the two tv's.
Also, is one of these better with SD tv?
Lastly, I have also considered a larger unit, 62". What would be the minimum number of feet I should be to get the 62" and avoid seeing too many "imperfections". btw, I can get the Toshiba 62HMX94 for $3500 at Howards with 15% restocking fee on return and no real extended service. Great price but everything else worries me.
