Notebook output to Sony KF50WE610 possible?

I am wondering how I would go about hooking up my notebook to my KF50WE610? Currently I can do it with S-Video to Composite but I'd like to be able to get higher resolutions. If possible, I'd also like to use the TV's HDMI (or is it DVI?) port as I'm already using the component inputs for DVD and XBOX.

Any guidance or feasability feedback is much appreciated.

This is the one thing that really SUCKS big time, on Sony - there is NO simple VGA input for your notebook.

Additionally, if you had a MAC with DVI out or a stand alone PC that had a DVI output Video card, you could go into the DVI input of the Sony, but as the TV runs native at 1386x788, matching the resolutions on your Notebook to the TV, is a pain at best. You will still have to deal with overscan/underscan issues.

Here is some background on the problems:

The other solution is to get a VGA to Component converter, but that would mean you'd have to unplug your Xbox as the SOny only has a skimpy 2 component inputs (Samsung has 3 components, a DVI and a HDMI).

Overall, while your sony provides a nice picture and performance, unlike Panasonics and Samsungs, it does NOT offer easy PC hookup :-(
