Are there any significant advantages that the xx94 model has over the xx84 model? Looking at the specs, it seems that the xx94 model is only really offering an integrated tuner, a cable card slot and some other ports.
As I don't have cable (currently using Dish), I am going to have to upgrade my satellite receiver anyway which I am told will allow for over the air transmission of HD content from local channels.
So is there any compelling reason to wait for the xx94 model? The xx84 model is currently available for around $2500 in the NJ/NYC metro area.
